Wire Portraiture + Contour Drawing @ an.a.log Gallery
Come join us for a creative afternoon at an.ä.log SF! In conjunction with BENT, a duo exhibition with Duncan Sherwood-Forbes and John Casey, an.a.log is presenting a unique workshop run by Duncan.
In this workshop you will work directly with the artist to practice the art of blind contour drawing, and then learn how to transform those drawings into dimensional wall based wire sculptures.
And the best part? The gallery is fully sponsoring the artist's fee, so tickets are available on a sliding scale starting at $20 to cover materials! A suggested donation of $60 will cover gallery costs, and $120 will allow the gallery to continue in its mission of providing accessible arts programming for all.
The workshop will take place on Saturday, Sept 13 at the gallery. Drawing boards, paper, pencils, wire, and pliers will all be provided, but feel free to bring your own materials.
